Sudanese entrepreneur and engineer (B.Eng, Sudan University of Science & Technology, 2004). Abobakr built his career in international trade and multi-sector ventures — from equipment and food to technology — before co-founding Baovita in Dodoma after the Sudan war.
At Baovita, he anchors the operational backbone: building value chains, structuring supply networks, and turning fragmented agricultural potential into export-ready, high-integrity products.

An American entrepreneur based in Africa, Shady leads Baovita’s vertically integrated production and export of baobab, moringa, and hibiscus — aligning sustainability, innovation, and inclusive growth.
He pioneered sterilisation technologies for baobab extraction in East Africa, raising purity, safety, and consistency to meet demanding food- and cosmetic-grade standards worldwide.
Position Baovita as a leading force in Africa’s agri-value chain — bridging underutilised natural resources with global demand for clean-label superfoods, in partnership with importers, distributors, wellness brands, NGOs, and investors.

Mohamed Jaffar is Baovita’s Chief Commercial Officer — the strategic engine behind the brand’s expansion across Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and beyond.
Combining an MBBS medical background with sharp commercial instinct, he bridges product science, market demand, and execution. As CCO, he leads export strategy, pricing, key accounts, and cross-border logistics, ensuring buyers experience consistent quality, transparent communication, and dependable supply.
